If a magical forest wedding ignites your spirit, Sea Cider in Victoria has a “rural yet polished” charm. Relax, enjoy this moment. Let things flow. This place exudes an atmosphere of tranquility, setting an unhurried tone for your day. Have your ceremony neighbouring the fragrant orchard, cocktail hour can take place on the patio as you find a moment to take photos in the trees or with the mountains as your backdrop. (You’re also invited to come a little early to prepare and get family, bridal party or intimate first-look photos at the site before the ceremony.)

Sea Cider is a working farm and cidery with over 1,000 trees and 60 varietals of apples on 10 acres. Amidst its lovely rustic touches, there’s refined elegance here.

After your cider toast—can’t get more local than at the orchard itself!—on the patio, you can whisk everyone to the pavilion for your reception. This high-ceilinged venue arches over huge slab doors that open to the fresh air, giving you an indoor-outdoor ambience in the summertime and the security that weather won’t change your plans!

While catering services are not provided by Sea Cider, there are facilities for their catering partners to use and glassware, linens, tables and chairs at the site. The Sea Cider team is on hand to provide excellent service for the rehearsal and wedding. A cute bonus detail they offer is a complimentary short flight of cider each for you and your partner on your wedding anniversary every year after!

Located just outside of Victoria on the Saanich Peninsula, Sea Cider is a 25-minute drive out from the city centre. It’s a lovely drive through an agrarian area and guests are allowed to leave their vehicles at the site overnight to ensure they find a safe ride home.
