Perched up on a bluff overlooking the sea, the wedding site has an expansive view of other neighbouring islands and mountains in the distance. Weddings booked here include the setup and takedown of beautiful custom-made cedar benches for your guests to surround the altar, a signing table and optional refreshments. These helpful details can go a long way for creating a smooth sail through a day with many moving parts!

The on-site catering is some of the most delicious wedding food I have ever ate! There is also a lovely indoor space for the dance floor and after-hours coffee area. This is where winter weddings can be held, and those are limited to 60 guests. There’s an array of opportunities to make your wedding celebration exactly what you’ve always wanted at Bodega.

Not to mention the accommodations! Bodega Ridge sits on 22 acres of oceanfront property and has 12 cabins: seven at the ridge top, and another five down at Bodega Cove. These incredibly charming private log cabins can be booked out for family and friends so they’re onsite for rehearsal dinners, getting ready before the ceremony, group photos and to enjoy the next-morning breakfast together. With luxurious soaker tubs, cedar patios and cozy wood-burning stoves, these lodgings will entice you to make an entire week out of it!

Just a ferry ride from Victoria or the mainland, Galiano Island has a remote vibe with the ease of access.
