The Shore Pier - Tofino Weddings

The Shore Pier is a Tofino wedding haven. A building with contemporary design, the pier sits on pillars above the waters of Clayoquot Sound and looks across the harbour to Meares Island and the mountains of Strathcona. An indoor-outdoor venue highlighting the best of west coast weddings, The Shore’s position casts scenic views over the ocean and islands with the comfort of a stylish interior area. Tall windows cover two sides of the building and a huge wraparound patio (under cover) allows guests to mingle and move between fresh air and the dance floor easily. This venue is big enough for a large gathering, but, with large wooden beams and modern chandeliers casting a lovely glow, it maintains a cozy warmth. 

Centrally located in the town’s centre, celebrating your Tofino wedding here is easy and accessible for all of your guests. Accommodations in Tofino are plentiful (though they can fill up quickly in the high season, so book in advance); find one in town and you’ll be able to walk to the wedding! Included in a wedding rental here is a one-hour rehearsal the day prior, so you can smooth out the details for your big day.

Amidst all the adventure Tofino and the surrounding area offers—kayaking, hiking, fishing or surfing—The Shore offers a refined character but keeps it in west coast style, naturally. 

While there is no in-house catering available there is a back room where food service can set up. Tofino is rich with exquisite catering entrepreneurs and local wedding planners are able to organize the best one suited for your needs.

Located on the west coast of Vancouver Island, Tofino is a five-hour drive north of Victoria. You can also travel there by floatplane from multiple locations on the island and the lower mainland, including Vancouver.
